Microsoft SQL Server 2017 released

[German]Microsoft has introduced SQL Server 2017 for Linux as Preview a couple of months ago. Now Microsoft’s SQL Server 2017 is globally available.


The announcement was made by Microsoft yesterday at the Ignite 2017 conference. Microsoft SQL Server 2017 is the first version of the database management solution available on Windows Server, Linux and Docker. Microsoft states that there were already 2 million downloads of the SQL Server for Linux image on the Docker Hub.
