Die Beschreibung f\u00fcr Update KB3186988<\/a> (CRITSIT- CATALOG ONLY – Cumulative Update for Windows 10 1511 – KB 3186988 – 2016.08 OOB) ist mal wieder denkbar knapp: <\/p>\n

This update includes improvements and fixes<\/a> to enhance the functionality of Windows 10.
Windows 10 updates are cumulative. Therefore, this package contains all previously-released fixes (see KB 3081444<\/a>).
If you have installed previous updates, only the new fixes that are contained in this package will be downloaded and installed to your computer. If you are installing a Windows 10 update package for the first time, the package for the x86 version is 514 MB, and the package for the x64 version is 902 MB.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

Das Update hebt die Build-Nummer auf 10586.550. Der Abschnitt zu Improvements und Fixes ist, als ich den Beitrag verfasst habe, noch nicht online. <\/p>\n

Welche Windows 10-Version habe ich?<\/h3>\n

Das Update wird ja automatisch per Windows Update eingespielt. Unsicher, welche Version von Windows 10 man betreibt? Um zu pr\u00fcfen, welche Windows 10-Version ihr nutzt, \u00f6ffnet ihr eine Eingabeaufforderung und gebt den Befehl winver.exe <\/em>ein. Dann dr\u00fcckt ihr die Eingabetaste. Ein Fenster zeigt die Version (z.B. V1511) und sogar die genaue Build an \u2013 es sollte irgend etwas mit Build Nummer 10586 gemeldet werden.<\/p>\n

Was fixt das Update?<\/h3>\n

Die gro\u00dfe Baustelle bei den Windows 10-Konsumervarianten (Windows 10 Home und Windows 10 Pro ist ja das Druckprobleme, welches seit dem letzten Patchday auftritt). Ich wage mich daher ein wenig aus dem Fenster und behaupte, dass das Update das Druckproblem unter Windows 10 behebt (siehe Linkliste). Nachtrag: Deckt sich auch mit dem Artikel<\/a> von Woody Leonhard.<\/p>\n

Nachtrag 2:<\/strong> Zwischenzeitlich hat Microsoft die Beschreibung f\u00fcr KB3186988<\/a> (Cumulative Update for Windows 10 Version 1511: August 30, 2016) aktualisiert.<\/p>\n

This cumulative update fixes an issue in which you can't print more than two documents in succession after you apply cumulative update 3176493<\/a>.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

Also genau das, was ich schon vermutet habe. Dass die Update-Pakete 514 MB bzw. 902 MB (64 Bit) gro\u00df sind, erkl\u00e4rt sich damit, dass wohl eine Reihe Module mit Patchday-Fixes auszutauschen sind.<\/p>\n
