Das ist vor allem f\u00fcr Firmen relevant, wo eine gr\u00f6\u00dfere Anzahl an Systemen umzustellen ist. <\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" alt=\"\" src=\"https:\/\/ssl-vg03.met.vgwort.de\/na\/1f66fb464f26465f99d99972ac5c6611\" width=\"1\" height=\"1\"\/>In Firmen (und speziell in Beh\u00f6rden) ist es aber Tradition, dass man einen Release-Wechsel auch mal \u00fcber das End of Life-Datum hinausz\u00f6gern muss. Nicht immer reichen die Ressourcen f\u00fcr einen z\u00fcgigen Wechsel. Bei Windows XP hat es geklappt \u2013 da gibt es f\u00fcr zahlende Kunden einen Extended Support \u00fcber das End of Life-Datum hinaus. <\/p>\n<h3>Keine Verl\u00e4ngerung f\u00fcr Office 2007 und Exchange 2007 <\/h3>\n<p>Microsoft hat nun aber klar gemacht, dass es f\u00fcr Office 2007 und Exchange 2007 keine Verl\u00e4ngerung des Extended Support geben werde. Mary Foley weist in <a href=\"http:\/\/www.zdnet.com\/article\/microsoft-wont-provide-extended-support-for-office-2007-products-beyond-october-2017-deadline\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">diesem Artikel<\/a> auf das Thema hin. Hier die Stellungnahme eines Microsoft-Sprechers:<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>\"The Office 2007 wave of products will be reaching end of support over the next 12 months, as per <a href=\"https:\/\/support.microsoft.com\/en-us\/lifecycle\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Microsoft Lifecycle Policy.<\/a> After those end of support dates, we will no longer offer custom support on any version of Office products (Exchange Server; Office Suites; SharePoint Server; Office Communications Server; Lync Server; Skype for Business Server; Project Server and Visio).  <\/p>\n<p>\"In the past we have offered custom support for a subset of Office products to customers with Premier support contracts. We have seen demand for custom support decline as more customers move to Office 365. Note that this change applies only to custom support, but does not impact any of the standard support offerings.  <\/p>\n<p>\"As always, customers should consult with their account manager regarding their individual migration plans, and may consider services such as Software Assurance <a href=\"https:\/\/www.microsoft.com\/en-us\/Licensing\/licensing-programs\/software-assurance-planning-services-overview.aspx\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Deployment &amp; Planning Services<\/a> for on-premises upgrades, and <a href=\"https:\/\/web.archive.org\/web\/20170616205331\/http:\/\/fasttrack.microsoft.com:80\/office\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Microsoft FastTrack<\/a> for cloud migrations.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Das Ganze d\u00fcrfte f\u00fcr die Firmen IT relevant sein, die die Migration auf neue Versionen planen m\u00fcssen.
