Das war nur ein kurzes Gastspiel. Der kalifornische Sicherheitsanbieter Malwarebytes hat im Jahr 2015 das Tool \u201eJunkware Removal Tool\" (JRT) aufgekauft und dann das franz\u00f6sische Startup AdwCleaner in 2016 \u00fcbernommen (siehe mein Beitrag hier<\/a>). Nun ist die Schamfrist f\u00fcr das \u201eJunkware Removal Tool\" (JRT) vorbei. Blog-Leser Detlef Krenz hat mich darauf hingewiesen (danke daf\u00fcr).<\/p>\n

Auf der Webseite Junkware Removal Tool to be discontinued<\/a> (sowie im Malwarebytes-Forum<\/a>) findet sich der Hinweis, dass das JRT eingestellt wird:<\/p>\n

In d\u00fcrren Worten: Am 26. Oktober 2017 hat Malwarebytes das Ende der Unterst\u00fctzung f\u00fcr das \u201eJunkware Removal Tool\" (JRT) angek\u00fcndigt. Ab dem 26. April 2018 erreicht das JRT das End of Life (EOL). Dann enden Updates und Unterst\u00fctzung f\u00fcr das Tool. Malwarebytes empfiehlt den Wechsel auf den AdwCleaner Version 7 oder h\u00f6her.
