Juli 2018 hat Microsoft ein umfangreiches Firmware-Update f\u00fcr das Surface Laptop freigegeben (laut Martin Geu\u00df<\/a> haben Windows Insider das bereits seit Juni 2018 erhalten). Das Paket wird in diesem Microsoft-Beitrag<\/a> beschrieben. Die Datei\u00a0 mit dem Firmware-Update SurfaceLaptop_Win10_16299_1803508_1.msi <\/em>soll Verbesserungen der Systemstabilit\u00e4t und \u2013zuverl\u00e4ssigkeit bieten. Zudem versucht Microsoft potenzielle Sicherheitsl\u00fccken, einschlie\u00dflich der Microsoft-Sicherheitshinweise ADV180012<\/a> und ADV180013<\/a> (Spectre und Meltdown) zu beheben. Die Datei\u00a0 mit dem Firmware-Update SurfacePro4_Win10_16299_1803001_0.msi soll Verbesserungen der Systemstabilit\u00e4t und \u2013zuverl\u00e4ssigkeit bieten. Auch das Surface Pro (2017-Modell in der Wi-Fi und LTE-Version) erh\u00e4lt das Firmware-Update mit den Updates gegen Spectre V2, allerdings erst am 26. Juli 2018.
