[English]Kleiner Hinweis f\u00fcr Nutzer eines Surface von Microsoft. Ein Microsoft Surface mit einem komplett entladenen Akku kann nicht mehr an einem Surface Dock aufgeladen werden.<\/p>\n

MVP Barb Bowman weist in ihrem Blog digitalmediaphile.com im Artikel Battery depleted Surface won't charge using Surface Dock<\/a> auf diese Einschr\u00e4nkung hin. Das Surface Dock ist ja eine Zusatzkomponente, welches die Microsoft-Ger\u00e4te in einen 'vollwertiges Desktop-System' verwandeln soll \u2013 so die nachfolgend gezeigte Amazon-Anzeige.<\/p>\n

AdamNids hat wohl 200 Microsoft Surfaces in seiner Firma in Betrieb, und ihm ist aufgefallen, dass die entladenen Ger\u00e4te sich an einem Surface Dock nicht aufladen. Er hat das Ganze dann bei Microsoft im US Answers-Forum gepostet<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Battery flat on Surface pro, Surface Dock will not charge it. Needs jump start from surface charger.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Had a few of these on our 200 surfaces in the organisation so I think it may be a bug…different Docks different Surface Pros.<\/p>\n

Surface Pro i5 (Latest updates for 1709, latest drivers for 1709 etc…).\u00a0 Kept in a drawer overnight.\u00a0 Battery goes flat.\u00a0 Plug into the surface dock 2 (latest firmware) and get a white flashing light on the charging connector.\u00a0 Check connector, re-seat etc..same problem 100%.\u00a0 Connect to the normal surface charger, solid white light, wait 5 mins, gets a bit of charge and then plug into the Dock – have a solid white light and the Surface happily charges.<\/p>\n

Seems like some sort of bug to me…and a bit of Googling seems to show lots of others having a similar problem.\u00a0 Not a big issue for me but those in the organisation who are not confident with technology log a support call, have lost their charger, can't work, asks for their trusty (rubbish) desktop to be returned, rants…etc..<\/p>\n

I have obviously run through all the various Microsoft Troubleshooting guides but nothing quite fits with my circumstances.<\/p>\n

If anyone has experienced this exact scenario and has an absolute solution then I am all ears (even if that answer is it is fixed 1803).<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

In kurz: Ist ein Surface komplett entladen, kann dieses am Dock nicht mehr geladen werden. Dies wird durch eine wei\u00dfe blinkenden Anzeige signalisiert. Nur wenn das Akku noch teilgeladen ist (oder an einem normalen Surface-Ladekabel etwas geladen wird), reicht die Stromversorgung des Surface Dock aus, um das Ger\u00e4t weiter zu laden. Dann sollte die wei\u00dfe Ladeanzeige dauerhaft leuchten.<\/p>\n

AdamNids schreibt, dass er alle m\u00f6glichen Ma\u00dfnahmen zur Fehlersuche erfolglos probiert habe. Ad-Hoc h\u00e4tte ich darauf getippt, dass der Ladestrom des Surface Dock zu gering ist, um ein komplett entladenes Akku zu versorgen. Genau das wurde dem Nutzer dann auch vom Surface-Support best\u00e4tigt.<\/p>\n

Von der 80 Watt Leistung des Surface Dock werden 30 Watt zur Versorgung der (USB-)Ports reserviert. Die restlichen 50 Watt reichen nicht mehr, um den Ladevorgang f\u00fcr ein komplett entladenes Surface Pro einzuleiten oder das Ger\u00e4t zu booten. Es muss also erst vorgeladen werden, um weiter am Dock betrieben und aufgeladen werden zu k\u00f6nnen. Also by Design.
