Auch wenn das Rollout momentan gestoppt ist, stellt sich die Frage, ob TMBE zu Windows 10 Oktober 2018 Update kompatibel sein wird. Hier gibt es \u00e4u\u00dferst spannende Entwicklungen. Microsoft stellt vor dem Rollout des Funktionsupdate sicher, dass es keine Kompatibilit\u00e4tsprobleme mit der Trend Micro-Software gibt. <\/p>\n

Trend Micro plant also die Kompatibilit\u00e4t mit Windows 10 schrittweise vorzunehmen. Die obige Tabelle zeigt, dass man die Produkte bis Mitte November 2018 aktualisiert haben will.<\/p>\n

Trend Micro-Blocker f\u00fcr Featureupdates kommt<\/h2>\n

Ein Punkt, der immer wieder f\u00fcr Bauchschmerzen bei Funktionsupdates sorgte: Ist der auf dem Client installierte Virenscanner kompatibel mit der neuen Version. Da hat Trend Micro eine interessante Neuerung angek\u00fcndigt, die als Bemerkung am Ende des Beitrags<\/a> zu finden ist. <\/p>\n

*Special Note — Trend Micro has requested a Windows Update (WU) Offer Block as well as a Setup Block from Microsoft. Please note that this only applies to OfficeScan, OfficeScan As a Service, Worry-Free Business Security, and Worry-Free Business Security Services (hosted) products. <\/p>\n

Offer Block<\/strong> – if a customer tries to retrieve and apply the Windows 10 October 2018 Update via Windows Update before applying the required Trend Micro Critical Patch (CP) – validated by certain driver versions – it will not be able to obtain the update for a period of 60 days from the official release of the Windows 10 October 2018 Update. Please note there will be no warning message. <\/p>\n

Setup Block<\/strong> – if a customer tries to apply the Windows 10 October 2018 Update via an installation package before applying the required Trend Micro Critical Patch (CP) – again validated by certain driver versions – a warning message will appear notifying the customer to first upgrade the Trend Micro product.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n
