Thinkpad X1 Yoga (3rd Gen) Stuck at Black Screen After Enabling \"Thunderbolt BIOS Assist\"<\/p>\n Hello, exactly one week ago, I changed enabled \"Thunderbolt BIOS Assist\" in the BIOS to support Linux. Following this, the system refused to boot to anything but a black screen. Thus, I sent the machine in for depot repair. I just received the machine back again today and the same thing occurred after enabling the same setting. After a long series of calls, I was told that no one is authorized to report BIOS bugs and that I should post here instead. I sincerely hope this is fixed, as this is a major error that required a motherboard replacement previously and will most likely require one again. I have started a new ticket for this repair and will be receiving a box tomorrow. Bei notebookcheck.com gibt man folgende Ger\u00e4te als betroffen an:<\/p>\n Notebookcheck.com listet auch die jeweiligen Quellen auf, wo Benutzer entsprechende Probleme melden. heise.de hat es hier<\/a> thematisiert und schreibt, dass eine Reparatur beim Hersteller erforderlich w\u00e4re. <\/p>\n Geht man beim heise.de-Artikel in die Kommentare, st\u00f6\u00dft man sehr schnell auf diesen Post<\/a>.<\/p>\n Hatte selbst schon ein Lenovo vom Kollegen auf dem Schreibtisch, bei dem man nicht mehr ins BIOS \/ UEFI kam. Abhilfe schaffte zum einen die Puffer-Batterie (und nat\u00fcrlich den Akku!) f\u00fcr mindestens 30 Minuten abzustecken und dann ohne angeschlossene bootf\u00e4hige Datentr\u00e4ger zu starten. Nach 2-3 Minuten Warten kam dann das \"BIOS\"-Bootmen\u00fc wieder hoch. <\/p>\n Mit angeschlossener SSD ging das definitiv nicht. <\/p>\n Edit: In diesem besonderen Fall w\u00e4re auch noch zu pr\u00fcfen, ob es wom\u00f6glich hilft ein bootf\u00e4higes Medium per Thunderbolt anzuschlie\u00dfen.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n Das ist zumindest schon mal ein Anhaltspunkt \u2013 wobei mir Forenbeitr\u00e4ge unter die Augen gekommen sind, wo jemand schrieb, dass es nicht geholfen habe.
