[English<\/a>]Microsoft hat zum 20. Oktober 2020 (C-Week) das Windows 10 Oktober 2020 Update (Version 20H2) zum Download freigegeben. Es ist das sogenannte Herbst-Update f\u00fcr Windows 10 Version 2004.<\/p>\n

Current status as of October 20, 2020<\/strong><\/p>\n

Windows 10, version 20H2 is available for users with devices running Windows 10, versions 1903 and higher who manually seek to \"Check for updates\" via Windows Update. The recommended servicing status is Semi-Annual Channel.<\/p>\n

Microsoft hat also Windows 10 Version 20H2 sowie das Windows Server-Pendant zum 20. Oktober 2020 freigegeben. Das Feature-Update steht ab Windows 10 Version 1903 und h\u00f6her als Upgrade zur Verf\u00fcgung. Um das Funktionsupdate zu erhalten, muss man in der Einstellungen<\/em>-Seite unter Windows Update <\/em>nach Updates suchen lassen. Ist die Maschine mit Windows 10 20H2 kompatibel, sollte das Funktionsupdate zum Download und zur Installation angeboten werden.<\/p>\n

Hinweis:<\/strong> Das Update wird im Semi Annual Channel verteilt. Wer in den Gruppenrichtlinien da was angepasst hat, muss das ggf. anpassen (siehe auch den nachfolgenden Kommentar).<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Microsoft plant dann das Upgrade in Wellen auszurollen und in den kommenden Wochen auf weitere Maschinen auszurollen. Das h\u00e4ngt dann von den festgestellten Problemen ab.<\/p>\n

Die Neuerungen der Windows 10 20H2 halten sich in Grenzen: Ein wenig am Startmen\u00fc ge\u00e4ndert und der Chromium Edge ist an Bord. Microsoft hat die Neuerungen in diesem Blog-Beitrag<\/a> zusammen gekratzt.<\/p>\n

Ich habe in meinem Visual Studio Abonnement (fr\u00fcher MSDN) nachgeschaut: Windows 10 20H2 wird als Consumer Edition und als Business Edition angeboten.<\/p>\n

Please note<\/b>: new supplemental media was not released with Windows 10, version 20H2, but the supplemental media previously released with Windows 10, version 2004 is also compatible with version 20H2 media.
\nFor this multi-edition Consumer media, use a product key specific to the edition in the list you want to activate.
\nFrom the desktop, select the Start button > Settings > Update & Security > Activation. Select Change product key and enter your product key. If the key is valid, you'll be asked to confirm the edition change, and Windows then performs it for you.

Dem Tweet hier<\/a> entnehme ich, dass ISO-Abbilddateien nicht nur im Visual Studio Abo Download-Bereich (MSDN), sondern auch im Volumenlizenz-Center (VLSC), bereitstehen. Zudem kann die Windows 10 20H2 per Media Creation Tool<\/a> (MCT) heruntergeladen werden. Die Kollegen von deskmodder.de haben hier einige Hinweise<\/a> gegeben.<\/p>\n

\"Adguard:<\/p>\n

Statt \u00fcber das Windows Media Creation Tool (MCT) zu gehen, kann man die ISO-Datei auch mittels der Webseite adguard<\/a> aus dem TechBench-Programm beziehen. Ich habe es gerade gepr\u00fcft, die ISOs (32 und 64 Bit) stehen f\u00fcr diverse Sprachen f\u00fcr Windows 10 20H2 zur Verf\u00fcgung. Der Download erfolgt dabei \u00fcber die Microsoft-Server (siehe auch\u00a0 Tipp: Windows- und Office-ISOs von Adguard herunterladen<\/a>).<\/p>\n
