Die Preview-Updates sind optional und dienen in Firmen zum Testen von Funktionen, die im April 2021 zum Patchday ausgerollt werden.<\/p>\n<h2>Update KB5000842 f\u00fcr Windows 10 Version 2004\/20H2<\/h2>\n<p>Das kumulative Update <a href=\"https:\/\/support.microsoft.com\/help\/5000850\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">KB5000842<\/a> steht f\u00fcr Windows 10 Version 2004 und 20H2 sowie f\u00fcr die Windows Server-Pendants bereit. Es hebt die OS-Build auf 19041.906 (Windows 10 2004) bzw. 19042.906 (Windows 10 20H2), und beinhaltet Qualit\u00e4tsverbesserungen aber keine neuen Betriebssystemfunktionen. Einmal wird der alte Edge-Browser durch das Preview-Update aus Windows 10 entfernt. Zudem wird das Aktivierungsproblem, welches ich im Blog-Beitrag <a href=\"https:\/\/borncity.com\/blog\/2021\/03\/28\/windows-10-version-2004-20h2-workaround-fr-aktivierungsfehler-0xc004c003-bei-update-kb5001692\/\">Windows 10 Version 2004\/20H2: Workaround f\u00fcr Aktivierungsfehler 0xc004c003 bei Update KB5001692<\/a> wohl behoben. Und das Update behebt das Problem, dass der Explorer f\u00fcr Minuten einfrieren kann.<\/p>\n<p>Dieses Update ist optional und sollte auf der Seite <em>Windows Update <\/em>der <em>Einstellungen<\/em>-App unter <em>Optionale Updates <\/em>als Link angezeigt werden. Erst bei Anwahl des Links wird das Update heruntergeladen und installiert. Dieses Update ist auch im <a href=\"https:\/\/www.catalog.update.microsoft.com\/home.aspx\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Microsoft Update Catalog<\/a>, nicht aber per WSUS erh\u00e4ltlich. F\u00fcr das Update gibt Microsoft im Supportbeitrag u.a. das schon l\u00e4nger bestehende Zertifikate Problem an, also dort ggf. nachlesen, was sonst noch zu beachten ist. Im Supportartikel finden sich auch Hinweise auf Voraussetzungen und wie man das integrierte SSU deinstallieren kann.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>Zudem hat Microsoft ein Update direkt f\u00fcr den Windows Update Client ver\u00f6ffentlicht, um dessen Zuverl\u00e4ssigkeit zu verbessern.
