[English<\/a>]Etwas unsch\u00f6ne Beobachtung, die aktuell einige Nutzer und Administratoren berichten. Auf einigen Systemen mit Microsoft 365 wird pl\u00f6tzlich die Preview der Outlook-App durch Microsoft installiert. Ich habe eine kurze Zusammenfassung des Sachverhalts erstellt, den ich schon mal im April 2023 aufgegriffen hatte.<\/p>\n

Anwendermeldung in Microsoft Answers<\/h2>\n

\"\"Bei einer kurzen Suche habe ich auf Microsoft Answers den Beitrag \"New\" Outlook for Windows UWP App (Preview) Installed Without Permission<\/a> im Outlook-Forum gefunden. Der Nutzer schrieb:<\/p>\n

I use Microsoft Office Home and Business 2019 Click-to-Run<\/strong> on my Win 10 v22H2 laptop. After the current Version 2304 \/ Build 16327.20214 (rel. 25-Apr-2023) update was automatically applied on 02-May-2023 a toggle switch labelled \"New Outlook<\/strong>\" appeared in the top-right corner of my MS Outlook 2019 interface prompting me to switch to the \"new\" Microsoft Outlook. At the time I had no idea what the purpose of this switch was but later found more information about this preview of the new Universal Windows Platform (UWP) \/ Microsoft Store app in the Microsoft support article Getting Started With the New Outlook for Windows<\/a> and the Microsoft 365 Insider blog at Starting to Support Third-party Accounts in New Outlook for Windows Preview<\/a>.<\/p>\n

I hovered my mouse over that toggle switch to try to find further information about its purpose but I am certain that I never turned that switch on, and the next day I was appalled to discover that this preview of the MS Outlook for Windows UWP app v1.2023.425.600 had been installed on my system without my permission.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Der Nutzer beschwert sich im Post, dass Microsoft die Preview von Outlook bzw. das neue Outlook auf seinem System installiert habe und will definitiv nicht als Versuchskaninchen f\u00fcr irgendwelche Experimente herhalten – speziell, da er ja eine Kaufversion von Office Home and Business 2019 besitzt. Im Foren-Post liefert der Nutzer weitere Screenshots zu diesem neuen Outlook-Eintrag.<\/p>\n

\"Try<\/p>\n

In einem weiteren Post gibt er an, dass der Schalter \"Try the new Outlook\" nun erneut im Outlook-Fenster zu finden sei, nachdem er einige Tage in seinem Microsoft Office Home and Business 2019 verschwunden war.<\/p>\n

Ich hatte bereits Ende April 2023 im Blog-Beitrag \"Testen Sie\"-Falle beim neuen Outlook 365-Client; Bug im Outlook f\u00fcr Web<\/a> berichtet, dass Microsoft aktuell versucht, Nutzer zum Testen der neuen Outlook-App zu animieren. Hintergrund war, dass ich einige Nutzer gemeldet haben, bei denen pl\u00f6tzlich der \"Testen Sie das neue Outlook\"-Schalter in der App angezeigt wurde. Ich hatte im Beitrag einen Registrierungseintrag angegeben, mit dem dies verhindert werden kann. Auch in\u00a0 der Techcommunity gibt es diesen Nutzereintrag<\/a> von April 2023, wo jemand Probleme mit \"Try Now public preview of Outlook 365\" beschreibt und eine Reparatur der App vornehmen musste.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Meldung auf patchlist.org<\/h2>\n

Mit ist das Thema aber am Sonntag bei einem Blick in mein Mail-Postfach \u00fcber eine Benachrichtigung eines neuen Eintrags MS 365 & Outlook issues<\/a> auf patchlist.org untergekommen. Ein Administrator schreibt zum 11. Mai 2023:<\/p>\n

I'm seeing issues on 4 devices so far where, after Tuesday, the Windows Mail app is now rebranded as \"Outlook Pre\" (I assume it stands for preview) and replaced the Outlook 365 icons and shortcuts. Opening it (Outlook Pre) causes Outlook from MS 365 to be disabled.<\/p>\n

Using the control panel to try to repair MS 365 (to get Outlook back) causes MS 365 to be removed COMPLETELY. Reinstalling MS 365 from office.com<\/em> is the only way to get it all working again.<\/p>\n

We're in a very rural area so this is a painful process since the download is just a stub. Many of our clients still only have 5 mbps connections.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Also auch hier wurde die neue Outlook-App ungefragt ausgetauscht. Und der einzige Weg zum alten Outlook zu kommen ist die Neuinstallation von der office.com-Webseite. Besonders frustrierend: Es sind wohl unterschiedliche Kunden, die in US-Gegenden mit schlechter Internet-Anbindung wohnen. Der Betroffene hat dann nachfolgendes Batchprogramm erstellt, mit dem der Wechsel zum neuen Outlook verhindert werden soll.<\/p>\n
