Denn Microsoft streicht kurzfristig die bisher f\u00fcr Non-Profit-Organisationen gew\u00e4hrten zehn kostenlosen Microsoft 365-Business Premium-Lizenzen. Und es k\u00f6nnte noch kritischer werden, wenn nicht alles t\u00e4uscht, m\u00fcssen die Betroffenen das sogar aktiv k\u00fcndigen. Andernfalls k\u00f6nnten aus den 10 kostenlosen Lizenzen regul\u00e4re Abos mit Abbuchungen werden.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/vg09.met.vgwort.de\/na\/d44d6b7c136e4ad6b14ec29ac6b13f99\" alt=\"\" width=\"1\" height=\"1\" \/>Am heutigen Morgen (15. Mai 2025) haben sich gleich zwei Blog-Leser mit der Information gemeldet, die Microsoft wohl per E-Mail an die Betroffenen schickt.<\/p>\n<h2>Lesermeldung #1 \u00fcber Lizenzeinstellung<\/h2>\n<p>Blog-Leser Christoph B. schrieb mir in einer Mail, dass er am heutigen Morgen (15. Mai 2025) von Microsoft per E-Mail \u00fcber eine \u00c4nderung bei Microsoft 365 Business Premium-Lizenzen informiert wurde. Die bisher zehn (10) kostenlosen Microsoft 365 Business Premium-Lizenzen, die gemeinn\u00fctzige (Non-Profit-) Organisationen bisher bekommen haben, werden mit der n\u00e4chsten Verl\u00e4ngerung \"discontinued\".<\/p>\n<p>Kann vorkommen, ist ja ein kostenloses Angebot, was Microsoft streichen kann &#8211; die Leute sind wohl gen\u00fcgend angef\u00fcttert. \"\u00c4rgerlich genug.\" schreibt der Leser.<\/p>\n<h3>Lauert da eine Zahlungsfalle?<\/h3>\n<p>Der Leser merkte in seiner E-Mail an, dass er aus der Mitteilung Microsofts herausliest, das Organisationen, die von der angek\u00fcndigten Einstellung der zehn kostenlosen Lizenzen betroffen sind, offenbar selbst das bestehende Abo k\u00fcndigen m\u00fcssten. Denn der Blog-Leser interpretiert die Mitteilung Microsofts so, dass Redmond ohne K\u00fcndigung bei der Verl\u00e4ngerung des vorher kostenlosen Abonnements Geld f\u00fcr die nun kostenpflichtigen Lizenzen belastet. Immerhin musste man in jedem Fall eine Zahlungsmethode im Administrator-Konto f\u00fcr die Verwaltung der Lizenzen einrichten.<\/p>\n<h3>Gibt es einen Datenverlust?<\/h3>\n<p>Christoph schreibt zudem: \"Andererseits steht was von data loss, es ist also nicht klar, was genau passiert.\" Der Leser schrieb, dass er vermutet, dass jemand bei mir im Blog mit liest, und da Klarheit in diesen Sachverhalt herein bringen k\u00f6nnte. Ich habe den Auszug der Microsoft-Mail am Beitragsende angeh\u00e4ngt.<\/p>\n<h2>Lesermeldung #2 \u00fcber Lizenzeinstellung<\/h2>\n<p>Auch Blog-Leser Christian S. hat sich per E-Mail gemeldet und schrieb, dass die obige Information \u00fcber die Einstellung der zehn kostenlosen Microsoft 365 Business Premium-Lizenzen f\u00fcr Non-Profit-Organisationen wohl fast alle Betroffenen \"kalt erwischt habe\".<\/p>\n<p>Der Leser betreut mehrere gemeinn\u00fctzige Organisationen und das sei keine sch\u00f6ne Sache. Es habe im Vorfeld keine Information gegeben, merkt der Leser an. Er schrieb mir noch, dass die zehn kostenlosen Microsoft 365 Business Premium-Lizenzen f\u00fcr Non-Profit-Organisationen \u00fcberwiegend zur lokalen Installation von Office auf den B\u00fcrorechnern genutzt wurden.<\/p>\n<p>Das sei \"nichts \u00fcberbordendes\", aber die Vereine konnten hier schon richtig Geld sparen. Das werde \"weh tun\", ist seine Einsch\u00e4tzung. Meine Einsch\u00e4tzung: Es muss weh tun &#8211; denn ich verstehe an dieser Stelle nicht, wieso Vereine unbedingt f\u00fcr ein wenig MS Office auf Microsoft 365 Business Premium-Pakete h\u00fcpfen m\u00fcssen.<\/p>\n<p>Inzwischen gibt es im Internet zwei gr\u00f6\u00dfere Diskussionsstr\u00e4nge. In der Spiceworks-Community findet der Austausch im Thread <a class=\"moz-txt-link-freetext\" href=\"https:\/\/www.reddit.com\/r\/sysadmin\/comments\/1kmuiaz\/nonprofit_microsoft_365_business_premium_grant_is\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Microsoft just notified that their 365 premium donation is going away<\/a> statt. Und auf reddit.com gibt es den Thread\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.reddit.com\/r\/sysadmin\/comments\/1kmuiaz\/nonprofit_microsoft_365_business_premium_grant_is\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Non-Profit Microsoft 365 Business Premium grant is being discontinued<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Dort hei\u00dft es, dass diese 10 Gratis Microsoft 365 Business Premium-Lizenzen bei der n\u00e4chsten Verl\u00e4ngerung am oder nach dem 1. Juli 2025 eingestellt werden. Die Lizenzen werden daher [f\u00fcr den betroffenen reddit-Nutzer] sp\u00e4testens am 1. April 2026 auslaufen.<\/p>\n<p>Microsoft bietet weiterhin bis zu 300 Lizenzen von Microsoft 365 Business Basic und Rabatt von bis zu 75 Prozent auf viele Microsoft 365-Angebote f\u00fcr gemeinn\u00fctzige Organisationen an.
