Januar 2026 bringt das Preview Update AI-Bloatware und versucht sich weiterhin an Fixes, wie dem Secure Boot. Welcome zur Patch-Stoppelei.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/vg04.met.vgwort.de\/na\/4d7e6309a8d845b6b5d3cfffd3718fb4\" alt=\"\" width=\"1\" height=\"1\" \/>Die Ank\u00fcndigung des Preview Update <a href=\"https:\/\/support.microsoft.com\/en-us\/topic\/january-29-2026-kb5074105-os-builds-26200-7705-and-26100-7705-preview-85bd25de-894a-43eb-a19b-9a59d10f194b\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">KB5074105<\/a> f\u00fcr Windows 11 24H2 &#8211; 25H2 unterscheidet wie bisher zwischen Funktionen, die graduell ausgerollt werden und Fixes, die allgemein verf\u00fcgbar sind. Hier die Fixes beim normalen Rollout:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><b class=\"ocpLegacyBold\">[Secure Boot]<\/b>\u00a0This release\u00a0for Windows 11,\u00a0version 24H2\u00a0will\u00a0execute updates in the Boot Manager on devices that already have the Windows UEFI CA 2023 certificate in their Secure Boot Signature Database (DB). It replaces the 2011 signed\u00a0bootmgfw.efi\u00a0with the 2023 signed\u00a0bootmgfw.efi. Be advised of the consequences of resetting the DB or\u00a0turning\u00a0Secure Boot on or off, as this can cause a \"Secure Boot violation\" issue.\u00a0In those rare cases, the solution is to create the\u00a0<a class=\"ocpExternalLink\" tabindex=\"0\" href=\"https:\/\/support.microsoft.com\/topic\/how-to-manage-the-windows-boot-manager-revocations-for-secure-boot-changes-associated-with-cve-2023-24932-41a975df-beb2-40c1-99a3-b3ff139f832d#bkmk_windows_install_media\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" data-bi-type=\"anchor\">Secure Boot recovery media<\/a>.<\/li>\n<li><b class=\"ocpLegacyBold\">[Security]\u00a0<i class=\"ocpItalic\">New!<\/i><\/b>\u00a0This update adds a feature for Data Protection Application Programming Interface (DPAPI) domain backup key management. Administrators can now set how often keys rotate automatically. The LocalizedResourceName setting\u00a0is ignored, so custom folder names don't appear.<\/li>\n<li><b class=\"ocpLegacyBold\">[Graphics]<\/b>\u00a0Fixed: This update addresses an issue where certain GPU configurations might recently have experienced a system error related to dxgmms2.sys, resulting in the KERNEL_SECURITY_CHECK_FAILURE error.<\/li>\n<li><b class=\"ocpLegacyBold\">[Narrator]<\/b>\u00a0Fixed:\u00a0This update addresses\u00a0an issue where Narrator might not start during Windows installation from an ISO file.<\/li>\n<li><b class=\"ocpLegacyBold\">[Other]<\/b>\u00a0Fixed: This update addresses an issue that could cause a system to stop\u00a0responding\u00a0during startup when Windows Boot Manager debugging is enabled. Diesmal hei\u00dft es nur: \"Der Einstellungsagent unterst\u00fctzt nun weitere Sprachen, darunter Deutsch, Portugiesisch, Spanisch, Koreanisch, Japanisch, Hindi, Italienisch und Chinesisch (vereinfacht).\"<\/p>\n<p>Das Update ist optional (nur f\u00fcr Nutzer nicht verwalteter Systeme), wird \u00fcber Windows Update (nicht per WSUS etc.) angeboten und l\u00e4sst sich aus dem <a href=\"https:\/\/www.catalog.update.microsoft.com\/Home.aspx\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Microsoft Update Catalog<\/a> herunterladen. Die Fixes werden aber in das regul\u00e4re Sicherheitsupdate vom Folgemonat integriert.
