Devices receive the new certificates only after demonstrating sufficient successful update signals, maintaining a controlled and phased rollout.<\/li>\n<li><b class=\"ocpLegacyBold\">\u200b\u200b\u200b\u200b\u200b\u200b\u200b\u200b\u200b\u200b\u200b\u200b\u200b\u200b<\/b>This update adds the\u00a0<b class=\"ocpLegacyBold\">LimitSecureBootRequiredServiceData<\/b>\u00a0Group Policy and\u00a0mobile device management (MDM)\u00a0setting under\u00a0<b class=\"ocpLegacyBold\">Computer Configuration<\/b>\u00a0&gt;\u00a0<b class=\"ocpLegacyBold\">Administrative Templates<\/b>\u00a0&gt;\u00a0<b class=\"ocpLegacyBold\">Windows Components<\/b>\u00a0&gt;\u00a0<b class=\"ocpLegacyBold\">Secure Boot<\/b>. When enabled, Windows\u00a0limits the Secure Boot service data it sends by suppressing the event normally sent to Microsoft. Neural engines that are part of a GPU now appear on the\u00a0Performance\u00a0page,\u00a0providing\u00a0a more complete view of\u00a0AI\u2011related\u00a0activity.\u00a0\u00a0A new optional\u00a0Isolation\u00a0column on the\u00a0Processes\u00a0and\u00a0Details\u00a0pages shows which apps are running in an\u00a0<a class=\"ocpExternalLink\" tabindex=\"0\" href=\"https:\/\/learn.microsoft.com\/windows\/win32\/secauthz\/appcontainer-isolation\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" data-bi-type=\"anchor\">AppContainer<\/a>. You can add\u00a0any of the new\u00a0columns\u00a0by right\u2011clicking a\u00a0column header in Task Manager\u00a0and selecting them from the menu.<\/li>\n<li>This update improves\u00a0CPU speed display on the Performance page of Task Manager for VMs, so it\u00a0doesn't\u00a0show\u00a0higher than unexpected\u00a0numbers after\u00a0resuming\u00a0from\u00a0hibernate.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li><b class=\"ocpLegacyBold\">[Camera]<\/b>\u00a0<i class=\"ocpItalic\"><b class=\"ocpLegacyBold\">New!<\/b><\/i>\u00a0Windows 11's Multi-App Camera feature allows multiple applications to access your camera stream at the same time. Basic Camera mode in Windows 11 enables simplified camera functionality, useful for troubleshooting or improving stability when your camera is not working correctly. Enterprise admin can now set Multi-App Camera mode or Basic Camera mode through\u00a0Group Policy, under\u00a0<b class=\"ocpLegacyBold\">Computer Configuration<\/b>\u00a0&gt;\u00a0<b class=\"ocpLegacyBold\">Administrative Templates<\/b>\u00a0&gt;\u00a0<b class=\"ocpLegacyBold\">Windows Components<\/b>\u00a0&gt;\u00a0<b class=\"ocpLegacyBold\">Camera<\/b>\u00a0&gt;\u00a0<b class=\"ocpLegacyBold\">Configure Camera Options.<\/b><\/li>\n<li><b class=\"ocpLegacyBold\">[Windows Setup]\u00a0<i class=\"ocpItalic\">New!<\/i><\/b>\u00a0You can now choose a custom name for your user folder on the Device Name\u00a0page during Windows setup. The updated experience makes it easier to select a custom name during setup only. If this step is skipped, Windows uses the default folder name and continues setup as usual. When Windows Hello face or fingerprint is set up and available, it is now the default sign-in method every time you sign in, even if you used a different method previously. Users will experience higher reliability with USB devices.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li><b class=\"ocpLegacyBold\">[Sensors]<\/b>\u00a0This update improves\u00a0resiliency against apps that could keep the sensor hub\u00a0powered on and drain power,\u00a0impacting\u00a0battery life.<\/li>\n<li><b class=\"ocpLegacyBold\">[Human Interface Device (HID)]<\/b>\u00a0This\u00a0update improves\u00a0battery life\u00a0related to the\u00a0HID and\u00a0Input stack\u00a0for\u00a0failed HID devices.\u00a0Power hygiene\u00a0is also improved\u00a0against applications that might\u00a0initiate\u00a0HID transfers during standby.<\/li>\n<li><b class=\"ocpLegacyBold\">[Input]<\/b>\u00a0The update improves:\n<ul>\n<li>Reliability of the touch keyboard on the sign\u2011in screen, including when entering or changing a password.<\/li>\n<li>Reliability of explorer.exe when closing the input switcher.<\/li>\n<li>Performance when opening or navigating to clipboard history.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li><b class=\"ocpLegacyBold\">[Fonts]<\/b>\u00a0The\u00a0Times New Roman font family is updated to improve the rendering of combining diacritical marks across Greek and Cyrillic scripts. This update provides more accurate and visually consistent text by addressing mark positioning issues.
