Patchday: MS Office security updates (December 12, 2017)

[German]On Tuesday, December 12, 2017 (Patchday), Microsoft released several security updates for Microsoft Office in addition to Windows updates. Here is the list of updates.

These updates apply only to the MSI Installer version of Microsoft Office. The click-n-run update history is available here and on this Microsoft site. An overview of all Office updates for the MSI Installer versions of Office can be found here. I derived the security updates below from this list. The non-safety relevant updates from December 2017 are listed in the blog article Microsoft Office Patchday (December 5, 2017).

The Office updates disables DDE (Dynamic Update Exchange Protocol) in all supported Microsoft Word versions. This is done for security reasons (ADV170021), see also Microsoft's Security Advisory 4053440 (DDE vulnerability).
