[German]A mobile device with a flexible or foldable display is being developed by some manufacturers and pictures of prototypes are appearing again and again. But now it seems to be real: A Chinese manufacturer presented the FlexPai for sale on October 31, 2018.

Companies like Samsung and LG have been working on foldable devices for a long time, but did not get beyond prototype status. MSPowerUser reported here that the world's first smartphone with a foldable display is to be introduced today (31.10.2018) (this has now taken place).

The device has been introduced in China and will be sold there immediately. The smartphone, known as FlexPai, has a massive display that can be folded in the middle. The device is equipped with 6 GB RAM and 128 GB memory.
