First foldable Smartphone available (in China)

Companies like Samsung and LG have been working on foldable devices for a long time, but did not get beyond prototype status. MSPowerUser reported here that the world's first smartphone with a foldable display is to be introduced today (31.10.2018) (this has now taken place).

In a Tweet Royole Corporation announces the world's first folding display smartphone.

The device has been introduced in China and will be sold there immediately. The smartphone, known as FlexPai, has a massive display that can be folded in the middle. The device is equipped with 6 GB RAM and 128 GB memory.
