Windows 10 V1903: Update KB4495666 for Insider

[German]For Windows insiders testing the Windows 10 May 2019 Update (Version 1903) in the Slow, Fast and Release Preview Ring, the cumulative update KB4495666 dated April 9, 2019 is available.

Microsoft has not only released the Windows 10 May 2019 Update (Version 1903) in Release Preview Ring (see Windows 10 V1903 in Release Preview Ring). Microsoft provides also security update KB4495666 for the Fast, Slow and Release Preview Ring since April 9, 2019. This update raises the OS build to 18362.53.

The update is only offered to users who have already updated Windows 10 V1903 to build 18356.30 and have registered in the mentioned rings. Then the update comes automatically via Windows Update. This update also includes security updates that are part of the normal monthly Patch Tuesday release cycle. Windows Insiders can also download the update from Microsoft Update Catalog.

The update has a known issue. After installing this update, Windows Defender Application Guard or Windows Sandbox may start with the error “0x800705b4”. Microsoft suggests the following workaround.

1. Use the credentials of a local administrator to create and set the following registry keys on the host operating system.

2. Then restart the host (Windows 10).

The keys can be imported using the following instructions in a .reg file (simply type the commands in the editor and save them to a .reg file, then double-click to import them).

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Containers\CmService\Policy]

Microsoft is working on a solution and will release an update in a future version. Thanks to EP for the hint.
