[German]The developers have already released version 60.9.0 of the Thunderbird email client on September 6, 2019. This is a maintenance update which should fix some bugs.

The release notes, dated September 6, 2019, list the following fixes for version 60.9.0 of the Thunderbird email client.
The configuration of Exchange accounts for Office365 is offered. This type of account requires a third-party add-on. IMAP still exists as an alternative.
There is also a link to a list of security fixes, but that page does not provide entries for version 60.9.0. There are also known issues:
- Due to changes in the Mozilla platform profiles stored on Windows networks, shares addressed by drive letters are now also addressed by UNC.
- Twitter does not work because API changes have been made to Twitter.com.
Thunderbird 60.9.0 is now available via FTP or for direct download. Existing installations can be updated via the update function of the program.
