Sicherheit[German]Adobe has released on September 10, 2019 a critical security update for Flash Player, which upgrades it to version Microsoft has also released a corresponding Flash update..


Adobe Security Bulletin

Adobe Security Bulletin APSB19-46 says that the update fixes two critical security issues and mentions the following Flash versions as affected.

Adobe Flash Player is available for Windows, Macintosh, Linux and Chrome OS platforms. The download links can be found in the Security Bulletin (or in this comment).

Microsoft Flash Update KB4516115

Microsoft has released the Flash Player Update KB4516115 for Windows Server 2019, all versions of Windows 10, Windows Server Version 1803, Windows Server 2016 Version 1709, Windows RT/RT 8.1, Windows 8.1, Windows Server 2016, and Server 2012 R2/Windows Server 2012 for September 10, 2019. The update can be found in the Microsoft Update Catalog here.

Check Google Chrome for Updates

The Chrome Browser should update automatically. You can also manually check for updates by typing chrome://components in the address bar.

    your info on "Adobe Flash Player for Microsoft Edge and Internet Explorer 11" for "Windows 10 and 8.1" here is INCORRECT! (it's NOT because it was NOT released for Win8.1/Win10)

    look at Adobe security bulletin APSB19-46 carefully!
    Adobe Flash Player for Microsoft Edge and Internet Explorer 11 list "  and earlier" for "Windows 10 and 8.1" as the affected versions
