[German]Adobe has released an update for the Flash Player on March 11, 2020, which raises the player to version 184.108.40.2064. Here is some information about this update.
No security update
There is no security bulletin from Adobe. The manufacturer only writes something about various fixes in the release notes. So Adobe has probably fixed bugs and updated the Flash Player to version 220.127.116.114 according to this page.
|Adobe Flash Player Desktop Runtime||18.104.22.1680||Windows, macOS, Linux|
|Adobe Flash Player for Google Chrome||22.214.171.1240 and earlier versions||Windows, Macintosh, Linux and Chrome OS|
|Adobe Flash Player for Microsoft Edge and Internet Explorer 11||126.96.36.1990 and earlier versions||Windows 10 and 8.1|
Adobe Flash Player 188.8.131.524 is available for Windows, Macintosh, Linux, and Chrome OS platforms. The download links can be found in the download center or here. Direct download links can be found in this comment or at deskmodder.de.
If the Flash Player is updated via the download center, please ensure that the optional offers (McAfee Security Scan Plus and True Key from Intel) are not installed. In my case, the checkboxes were no longer checked within the browser – Adobe seems to have changed something.
Which Flash Player version do I have?
The installed Flash version can be checked on this page. There you can see whether the Flash Player is supported in the browser (in Chrome Flash is deactivated by default).
Check Google Chrome for updates
With the Chrome Browser, the update should be applied automatically. You can also check for updates manually by typing chrome://components in the address bar (works for Chrome, for Iron the flash option is not available).
