[German]After the Mozilla developers released Firefox version 76.0.0 and and 68.8.0esr of the browser on May 5, 2020, a few hours later version 76.0.1 has been published.

Blog readers have mentioned this update of the browser in these comments. It is a bug-fix release. The release notes indicate that the following problems have been fixed in this version:
- Fixed a bug causing some add-ons such as Amazon Assistant to see multiple onConnect events, impairing functionality (bug 1635637)
- Fixed a crash on 32-bit Windows systems with some nVidia drivers installed (bug 1635823)
The browser can be updated via the Firefox help menu. The new Firefox is also available for download here for various platforms. Alternatively you can download the browser via FTP.
