Adobe Flash Player

Sicherheit[German]Adobe has released an update for the Flash Player on November 10, 2020, which raises it to version It is a bug maintenance update which does not close any vulnerabilities. Here is some information about this update.


Support for the Adobe Flash Player will end on December 31, 2020 (see also the blog post Adobe Flash: End-of-Live date again announced).

No security update

The update to Adobe Flash Player is a bug fix only and does not contain any security fixes. Therefore, there is no Adobe Security Bulletin and Microsoft has not released Flash updates for Windows 8.1 and Windows 10. The release notes only state ‘Assorted functional fixes’, but do not give any details.
