Here is an overview of firmware updates for each device type that address potential security vulnerabilities, including Microsoft Security Advisory\u00a0 <a href=\"https:\/\/web.archive.org\/web\/20200916142137\/https:\/\/portal.msrc.microsoft.com\/en-us\/security-guidance\/advisory\/ADV190013\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">ADV190013<\/a> (Microarchitectural Data Sampling vulnerabilities):<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>CVE-2018-12126 &#8211; Microarchitectural Store Buffer Data Sampling (MSBDS)<\/li>\n<li>CVE-2018-12130 &#8211; Microarchitectural Fill Buffer Data Sampling (MFBDS)<\/li>\n<li>CVE-2018-12127 &#8211; Microarchitectural Load Port Data Sampling (MLPDS)<\/li>\n<li>CVE-2019-11091 &#8211; Microarchitectural Data Sampling Uncacheable Memory (MDSUM)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Depending on the device, they receive different firmware versions<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Surface Laptop 1 und 2:<\/strong> Surface UEFI \u2013 Firmware 137.2706.768.0<\/li>\n<li><strong>Surface Book<\/strong><strong>: <\/strong>Surface UEFI \u2013 Firmware 91.2706.768.0<\/li>\n<li><strong>Surface Book <\/strong><strong>2:<\/strong> Surface UEFI \u2013 Firmware 389.2706.768.0<\/li>\n<li><strong>Surface Pro 4:<\/strong> Surface UEFI \u2013 Firmware 108.2706.768.0<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>To get the update, go to <em>Update &amp; Security -&gt; Windows Update<\/em> in the <em>Settings<\/em> app of Windows 10 and click the <em>Check for Updates<\/em> button.
