In this major version there are some new features, so Google wants to support DNS-over-HTTPS (DoH).<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<h2>Chrome 78.0.3904.70<\/h2>\n<p>The <a href=\"https:\/\/chromereleases.googleblog.com\/2019\/10\/stable-channel-update-for-desktop_22.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">announcement<\/a> within the Chromium blog is rather short, only the release for the desktop (Linux, macOS and Windows) will be announced on October 22, 2019. The Chrome 78.0.3904.70 will be rolled out to users in the coming weeks via automatic update. Chrome 78 is available for Windows, Mac and Linux, you can download it <a href=\"https:\/\/www.google.com\/intl\/de_de\/chrome\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">here<\/a>. If you use the <a href=\"https:\/\/portableapps.com\/de\/apps\/internet\/google_chrome_portable\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Chrome portable version<\/a>, you have to wait until it is updated accordingly.<\/p>\n<p>The changes are documented on the Chromium page are more reading stuff for developers. The Chromium blog <a href=\"https:\/\/blog.chromium.org\/2019\/10\/recent-site-isolation-improvements.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">notes<\/a>, that the browser supports site isolation (from version 77).
