Microsoft has added the following text to the update description:<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p><strong>Known issues<\/strong>  <\/p>\n<p>After you apply this security update and you print multiple documents in succession, the first two documents may print successfully. However, the third and subsequent documents may not print.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>I've blogged about that incident in my post <a href=\"https:\/\/borncity.com\/win\/2016\/08\/19\/printing-issues-with-microsoft-security-patch-ms16-098\/\">Printing issues with Microsoft Security Patch MS16-098<\/a>. Printing more that 2 jobs doesn't works after installing <a href=\"https:\/\/support.microsoft.com\/en-us\/kb\/3176492\">KB3176492<\/a> (released August 9, 2016) in Windows 10 (RTM). Also many commercial software wasn't able to print multi page jobs.<\/p>\n<p>Microsoft has already released a fix for Windows 10 RTM (Business SKUs), as I wrote at <a href=\"https:\/\/borncity.com\/win\/2016\/08\/21\/update-kb3186987-for-windows10-fixes-printing-issue\/\">Update KB3186987 for Windows 10 fixes printing issue<\/a>. Now Microsoft releases update <a href=\"https:\/\/support.microsoft.com\/en-us\/kb\/3187022\" target=\"_blank\">KB3187022<\/a> for Windows 7 SP1 and Windows 8.1 to fix the printing issue \u2013 as I read <a href=\"http:\/\/answers.microsoft.com\/en-us\/windows\/forum\/windows_10-other_settings\/kb3176493-for-windows-10-and-kb3177725-for-windows\/1280fc29-68ff-4328-83b2-e42704633262\" target=\"_blank\">here<\/a>.<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>Print functionality is broken after any of the security updates that are described in <a href=\"https:\/\/technet.microsoft.com\/library\/security\/MS16-098\" target=\"_blank\">Microsoft Security Bulletin MS16-098<\/a> are installed if a print application uses the same device context for multiple print jobs.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>The update is only available via <a href=\"http:\/\/catalog.update.microsoft.com\/v7\/site\/Search.aspx?q=KB3187022\" target=\"_blank\">Microsoft Update Catalog<\/a> \u2013 downloadable from Internet Explorer.
