Here are a few details about Windows 10 version 1809 end of life.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>Through <a href=\"https:\/\/www.expertreviews.co.uk\/operating-systems\/1411596\/microsoft-windows-10-update-1809-end-of-servicing\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">this post<\/a> I became aware of the Microsoft support article <a href=\"https:\/\/support.microsoft.com\/en-us\/help\/4541558\/windows-10-version-1809-end-of-servicing\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">4541558<\/a> dated February 12, 2020. According to the <a href=\"https:\/\/support.microsoft.com\/en-us\/help\/13853\/windows-lifecycle-fact-sheet\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Windows Lifecycle Information Sheet<\/a>, Windows 10 version 1809 reaches the 18-month service end on May 12, 2020.<img decoding=\"async\" title=\"Windows 10 Life Cycle\" src=\"https:\/\/i.imgur.com\/yeaLNYk.jpg\" alt=\"Windows 10 Life Cycle\" \/><\/p>\n<p>This applies to the Windows 10 variants listed below, which by the way were first released in October 2018, but then withdrawn again:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Windows 10 Home Version 1809<\/li>\n<li>Windows 10 Pro Version 1809<\/li>\n<li>Windows 10 Pro for Education Version 1809<\/li>\n<li>Windows 10 Pro for Workstations Version 1809<\/li>\n<li>Windows 10 IoT Core Version 1809<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>In contrast, Windows 10 Enterprise and Windows 10 Enterprise Education, which is intended for enterprise use, will receive 30 months of support and will be supported until May 11, 2021.
