Here is a short fix for this error.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>This error means that Windows 10 can't access the boot files(BCD) and stalls with a blue screen, reporting error code 0xc0000034. To fix this issue, a bootable media (Windows 10 setup DVD or USB stick) is required.<\/p>\n<p>1. Boot the system with Windows 10 install media (DVD or USB stick) and select the language and keyboard settings.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" title=\"Setup\" src=\"https:\/\/web.archive.org\/web\/20190203155836\/http:\/\/k67.imgup.net\/SetupUSbf1d.jpg\" alt=\"Setup\" width=\"511\" height=\"380\" \/><\/p>\n<p>2. In the 2nd windows with the <em>Install <\/em>now button select the option <em>Repair your computer <\/em>shown in the lower left corner.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" title=\"Windows PE Options\" src=\"https:\/\/web.archive.org\/web\/20190203155839\/http:\/\/f00.imgup.net\/WinPE-Opticccd.jpg\" alt=\"Windows PE Options\" \/><\/p>\n<p>3. If the <em>Options <\/em>menu is shown, select <em>Troubleshooting <\/em>and on the <em>Advanced options <\/em>page <em>Command Prompt <\/em>(see <a href=\"https:\/\/web.archive.org\/web\/20161118221428\/http:\/\/www.tenforums.com:80\/tutorials\/2294-advanced-startup-options-boot-windows-10-a.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">here<\/a>).<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/web.archive.org\/web\/20190203155841\/http:\/\/b54.imgup.net\/WinPE-Adva89f9.jpg\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Enter the following commands in command prompt window (see <a href=\"http:\/\/answers.microsoft.com\/en-us\/windows\/forum\/windows_10-start\/error-code-0xc0000034-with-windows-10\/8e8ef3d1-7676-455e-becf-502a3e7ba5f8\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">also<\/a>):<\/p>\n<p>bootrec \/fixMBR<br \/>\nbootrec \/fixBoot<br \/>\nbootrec \/rebuildBCD<\/p>\n<p>Then type <em>exit <\/em>and reboot your system. Hope, Windows 10 will be able to boot.
