As a result, printers went on strike during printing. On June 16 and 18, 2020, correction updates to fix the print bug were released as optional. I had reported several times in the blog (see links at the end of this article). ).<\/p>\n<p>All these updates have in common that they can trigger a BlueScreen in the Local Security Authority Subsystem Service (LSASS) file (lsass.exe). For example, the KB article for update <a href=\"https:\/\/support.microsoft.com\/help\/4567523\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">KB4567523now contains the following note in the list of known issues:<\/a><\/p>\n<blockquote><p>The Local Security Authority Subsystem Service (LSASS) file (<strong>lsass.exe<\/strong>) might fail on some devices with the error message, \"A critical system process, C:\\WINDOWS\\system32\\lsass.exe, failed with status code c0000008. The machine must now be restarted.\"<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>The Local Security Authority Subsystem Service (LSASS) may fail with the stop code 0xC0000008 (BlueScreen), which causes Windows to restart by default.<\/p>\n<h2>Which updates and Windows 10 version are affected?<\/h2>\n<p>I went through the updates for the various versions of Windows 10 that were distributed in June 2020. Here is the list of all affected updates where Microsoft has added relevant information in the KB articles.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Update <a href=\"https:\/\/support.microsoft.com\/help\/4557957\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">KB4557957<\/a> from June 9, 2020 for Windows 10 Version 2004 and Windows Server Version 2004 (Security update)<\/li>\n<li>Update <a href=\"https:\/\/support.microsoft.com\/help\/4567523\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">KB4567523<\/a> from June 16. 2020 for Windows 10 Version 2004 and Windows Server Version 2004<\/li>\n<li>Update <a href=\"https:\/\/support.microsoft.com\/en-us\/help\/4560960\/windows-10-update-kb4560960\">KB4560960<\/a> dated June 9, 2020 is available for Windows 10 version 1903\/1909 and Windows Server version 1903 (the security update)<\/li>\n<li>Update <a href=\"https:\/\/support.microsoft.com\/help\/4567512\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">KB4567512<\/a> of June 18, 2020 is available for Windows 10 version 1903\/1909, Windows Server version 9103\/1909, and Windows Server 2019<\/li>\n<li>Update <a href=\"https:\/\/support.microsoft.com\/help\/4561608\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">KB4561608<\/a> from dated June 9, 2020 is available for Windows 10 version 1809, Windows Server version 1809 and Windows Server 2019<\/li>\n<li>Update <a href=\"https:\/\/support.microsoft.com\/help\/4567513\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">KB4567513<\/a> of June 16, 2020 is available for Windows 10 version 1809, Windows Server version 1809, and Windows Server 2019<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Microsoft is working on a solution and wants to provide an update in an upcoming version. The above-mentioned printer correction updates are optional, and are only available for manual download and installation from the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.catalog.update.microsoft.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Microsoft Update Catalog<\/a> via its search.
