This is a maintenance update for the 68 main branch of the e-mail client, which fixes some bugs.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>The hint to the new version already came from German blog reader Tom in this comment (thanks for that). Of course I tested immediately, and was offered the new version.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" title=\"Thunderbird 68.10.0\" alt=\"Thunderbird 68.10.0\" src=\"https:\/\/i.imgur.com\/96w9FeA.jpg\"><\/p>\n<p>During a quick check, the update installed without any problems and I could not detect any errors. According to the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.thunderbird.net\/en-US\/thunderbird\/68.10.0\/releasenotes\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">release notes<\/a> there are the following fixes for the new Thunderbird version: <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Chat: Topics did not display some characters correctly\n<li>Calendar: Filtering of tasks did not work when \"Incomplete tasks\" was selected.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>So it seems, that there are only minor fixes. <\/p>\n<h2>System requirements<\/h2>\n<p>The system requirements for the different operating system versions (see <a href=\"https:\/\/www.thunderbird.net\/en-US\/thunderbird\/68.0\/system-requirements\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">also<\/a>): <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Windows: Windows 7, Windows Server 2008 R2 or higher\n<li>Mac: Mac OS X 10.9 or later\n<li>Linux: GTK+ 3.4 or higher <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The download is available <a href=\"https:\/\/www.thunderbird.net\/de\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">here<\/a>.
