The page is for IT professionals and users who are searching details about security updates from Microsoft.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/vg06.met.vgwort.de\/na\/cc24396b953a4989b032b65a9712ae19\" alt=\"\" width=\"1\" height=\"1\" \/>The new page is called '<a href=\"https:\/\/msrc.microsoft.com\/update-guide\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Security Update Guide<\/a>' and provides access to the description of security update support articles, CVE numbers and also downloads.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" title=\"'Security Update Guide'\" src=\"https:\/\/i.imgur.com\/6GQCljf.jpg\" alt=\"'Security Update Guide'\" width=\"646\" height=\"509\" \/><br \/>\n'Security Update Guide'<\/p>\n<p>Microsoft has introduced this new re-design within the <a href=\"https:\/\/msrc-blog.microsoft.com\/2020\/09\/21\/new-and-improved-security-update-guide\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">msrc blog<\/a>. They presented the 'Security Update Guide' as an one-stop site for information about all security updates provided by Microsoft.<\/p>\n<p>This new version shall provide a more intuitive user experience to help protect customer systems, regardless of what Microsoft products or services they use in their environment. Microsoft claims, they have listened to user feedback and incorporated many of the suggestions made by customers. For example, it is now much easier to get a simple list of all CVEs being released on an Update Tuesday or between your own custom date range (see <strong>Vulnerabilities<\/strong> tab).<\/p>\n<p>Additionally, users can now quickly get a unique list of downloadable patches along with links to Release Notes and KB Articles (see <strong>Deployments<\/strong> tab). Finally, users can select columns to personalize your display (see <strong>Edit Columns<\/strong>), and you can even switch to Dark Mode if you prefer (see <strong>Theme <\/strong>control in menu).
