These tools are free and provide additional features for Windows 10, this time it is a stability update for each tool.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<h2>The PowerToys, what's that?<\/h2>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" alt=\"\" src=\"https:\/\/vg05.met.vgwort.de\/na\/5764c85dbb664f108ba053d9a1e533d2\" width=\"1\" height=\"1\">The PowerToys were free programs under Windows 95\/98, with which certain Windows functions could be optimized or adapted. Inspired by the PowerToys project under Windows 95, some developers dared to reboot. This restart is supposed to offer power users possibilities to get more efficiency out of the Windows 10 shell and to adapt it for individual workflows. More information can be found in the blog post <a href=\"https:\/\/borncity.com\/win\/2019\/09\/05\/windows-10-erste-open-source-powertoys-freigegeben\/\">Windows 10: First Open Source PowerToys released<\/a>.&nbsp; <\/p>\n<p>(PowerToys Settings)  <\/p>\n<p>The PowerToys known from Windows 9x are also available in the version for Windows 10 Open Source and free of charge. <\/p>\n<h2>Version 0.23&nbsp; released<\/h2>\n<p>The announcement of PowerToys version 0.23.0 was made on Twitter a few hours ago by developer Clint Rutkas &#8211; here is his <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/ClintRutkas\/status\/1311344494160216065\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">tweet<\/a>.  <\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>We released 0.23.0 for #PowerToys. This includes a host of improvements including accessibility fixes. Video conference global mute will be out in about a week in the 0.24 experimental release.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>The goals for the 0.23 release cycle were to focus on stability, localization and quality of life improvements for both the development team and our end users. The videoconferencing utility is scheduled to be released next week with version 0.24. The fixes are documented <a href=\"https:\/\/github.com\/microsoft\/PowerToys\/issues?q=is%3Aissue+project%3Amicrosoft%2FPowerToys%2F12\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">here<\/a>, on <a href=\"https:\/\/github.com\/microsoft\/PowerToys\/releases\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">GitHub Rutkas reports<\/a> the following changes:<\/p>\n<p><strong>General<\/strong>  <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Localization pipeline is flowing from our Github to the loc system and back. 0.25 should be localized now.\n<li>The EXE installer should be at parity now with the MSI. Please go to the wiki for (installer args)[https:\/\/github.com\/microsoft\/PowerToys\/wiki\/Installer-arguments-for-exe]<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>FancyZones<\/strong>  <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Fixed bug on not seeing a newly attached screen\n<li>Fixed spanning across monitors bug\n<li>Added in default layout for new users, a Priority Grid\n<li>Added keyboard support to grow \/ shrink to multiple zones\n<li>General bug fixes<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>PT Run<\/strong>  <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Multiple crash bugs fixed. Prioritized any users reported along with top hits from Watson reporting\n<li>Stopped PT Run from interfering with an install\n<li>Fixed folder bug if it had a # in it (Thanks @jjw24 for the PR!)\n<li>Fixed a screen flicker for\n<li>General bug fixes<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Keyboard manager<\/strong>  <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Multiple crash bugs fixed.
