In this version 14 bugs are fixed, which are described in <a href=\"https:\/\/wordpress.org\/news\/2020\/10\/wordpress-5-5-2-security-and-maintenance-release\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">the release notes<\/a>. The update fixes a critical vulnerability that allows a remote attacker to take over a page via a denial of service attack (see <a href=\"https:\/\/threatpost.com\/wordpress-patches-rce-bug\/160812\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">also<\/a>).
