Google had just updated Chrome for security reasons, as I wrote in the blog post Google Chrome 86.0.4240.198<\/a>. The Edge 86.0.622.68 released on 11 November 2020 is based on the Google Chrome 86.0.4240.198.<\/p>\n

The security update, rated High, closes the vulnerability CVE-2020-16016<\/a>. No details about this vulnerability are currently disclosed. Strangely, this CVE number is also not mentioned by Google (see blog post Google Chrome 86.0.4240.198<\/a>).
