Users experienced login issues and were unable to use the service.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" alt=\"\" src=\"https:\/\/vg06.met.vgwort.de\/na\/20ae4d86e47146c9b53da370693b5c6c\" width=\"1\" height=\"1\">Slackonfirmed this disruption hours ago &#8211; I came across the problem via the following <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/slackhq\/status\/1346122086176186368\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">tweet<\/a>. Customers are unable to log in to the service and are not really 'amused'.&nbsp; <\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/slackhq\/status\/1346122086176186368\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><img decoding=\"async\" title=\"Slack outage Jan. 2021\" alt=\"Slack outage Jan. 2021\" src=\"https:\/\/i.imgur.com\/PDRo1dz.png\"><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Various media outlets are indeed reporting that Slack is working again. But the <a href=\"https:\/\/status.slack.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">status page still reports<\/a> at the time of writing this post: Troubles with Google Calendar, Outlook Calendar, and email notifications &#8211; apps cannot yet be integrated via the API. Here are details about this glitch from the status page.<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>Monday January 4, 2021<\/p>\n<p>Incident  <\/p>\n<h5>Troubles with Google Calendar, Outlook Calendar, and email notifications<\/h5>\n<p>Setting up a new email forwarding rule right now may also be affected by the email notifications issue. Our team is continuing to investigate this.<br \/>We're close to resolving the issue with the calendar apps, and we'll provide an update as soon as we have one.  <\/p>\n<p>Jan 5, 1:00 AM GMT+1  <\/p>\n<p>Users who've joined a workspace and been invited to a workspace should now be receiving email notifications successfully. However, they won't be able to reply to the emails.<br \/>The issues with Google Calendar and Outlook Calendar are still being worked on. We'll be back once we have some more information.  <\/p>\n<p>Jan 4, 11:50 PM GMT+1  <\/p>\n<p>We're closer to getting Google Calendar working as expected, but we're not at a resolution yet. We're also continuing to work to resolve the trouble with Outlook Calendar and email notifications.  <\/p>\n<p>Jan 4, 10:47 PM GMT+1  <\/p>\n<p>For users who've joined a workspace, email notifications should be delivered.
