The update closes three vulnerabilities that are exploited by 0-day exploits.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>I came across the issue via the following <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/craiu\/status\/1354152591077339136\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">tweet<\/a>. There Costin Raiu highlights the three vulnerabilities CVE-2021-1782 (race condition in the kernel), as well as CVE-2021-1871 and CVE-2021-1870, which Apple states in <a href=\"https:\/\/support.apple.com\/en-us\/HT212146\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">this document<\/a>.&nbsp;&nbsp; <\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" title=\"iOS 14.4 security update\" alt=\"iOS 14.4 security update\" src=\"https:\/\/i.imgur.com\/8lnJuUu.png\"><\/p>\n<p>With the latter vulnerabilities, a remote attacker may be able to execute arbitrary code. Apple is aware of a report that this issue may have been actively exploited.
