It is a security update that fixes various vulnerabilities that have already been fixed in Google Chrome. Here is some information about it.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" alt=\"\" src=\"https:\/\/vg04.met.vgwort.de\/na\/4d8d440b841848a784d30ab0a21aeb1f\" width=\"1\" height=\"1\">Google has yes updated the Chrome browser to version 89.0.4389.114 on March 31, 2021 for Linux, macOS and Windows, to fix vulnerabilities(see <a href=\"https:\/\/borncity.com\/win\/2021\/03\/31\/google-chrome-89-0-4389-114-fixt-schwachstellen\/\">Google Chrome 89.0.4389.114 fixes 8 vulnerabilities<\/a>). Now Microsoft is following with the Edge 89.0.774.68 update, though the April 1, 2020. The <a href=\"https:\/\/docs.microsoft.com\/en-us\/DeployEdge\/microsoft-edge-relnotes-security\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">release notes<\/a> don't mention any closed vulnerabilities but refer to the <a href=\"https:\/\/msrc.microsoft.com\/update-guide\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Security Update Guide<\/a>, though I find its format very confusing.&nbsp; <\/p>\n<p>I've mentioned the security fixes in the Chrome blog post.
