Affected people were redirected to the Microsoft Store page for Gaming Services. Microsoft had released some guidance on June 10, 2021 in the form of a registry intervention to resolve the issue (see <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bleepingcomputer.com\/news\/microsoft\/microsoft-finally-shares-fix-for-xbox-game-pass-installation-errors\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">this article<\/a> at Bleeping Computer). Since this overwhelms many users, Microsoft released a special update <a href=\"https:\/\/support.microsoft.com\/en-us\/topic\/june-11-2021-kb5004476-os-builds-19041-1055-19042-1055-and-19043-1055-out-of-band-e12f58c7-4ceb-4d24-adfb-b13820f4e86b\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">KB5004476<\/a> on June 11, 2021, which is supposed to make these fixes automatically.
