Also with ESU Bypass v11 the whole thing still works. But these security updates are also available for Windows Server 2008 R2 with ESU support. Here is some information about the Monthly Rollup and Security only updates for this operating system.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<h2>Updates for Windows 7\/Windows Server 2008 R2<\/h2>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/vg08.met.vgwort.de\/na\/0269f3f03b82417a870e08bb2d3f870e\" alt=\"\" width=\"1\" height=\"1\" \/>A rollup and a security-only update have been released for Windows 7 SP1 and Windows Server 2008 R2 SP1. However, these updates are only available for systems with ESU license (2nd year). The update history for Windows 7 can be found on <a href=\"https:\/\/support.microsoft.com\/en-us\/help\/4009469\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">this Microsoft page<\/a>.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>The update installation requires either a valid ESU license for 2021, or ESU Bypass v11 (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.deskmodder.de\/blog\/2019\/12\/07\/windows-7-erweiterte-sicherheitsupdates-esu-erhalten-wird-moeglich-sein\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">see<\/a>).<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<h3>KB5007236 (Monthly Rollup) for Windows 7\/Windows Server 2008 R2<\/h3>\n<p>Update <a href=\"https:\/\/support.microsoft.com\/help\/5007236\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">KB5007236<\/a> (Monthly Quality Rollup for Windows 7 SP1 and Windows Server 2008 R2 SP1) contains (besides the security fixes from the previous month) improvements and bug fixes and addresses the following:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Addresses a known issue that might prevent devices from downloading and installing printer drivers when the devices attempt to connect to a network printer for the first time. We have observed this issue on devices that access printers using a print server that uses HTTP connections.<\/li>\n<li>Addresses a known issue that prevents an Internet print server from properly packaging modified printer properties before sending the package to the client.<\/li>\n<li>Addresses an issue in which certain apps might have unexpected results when rendering some user interface elements or when drawing within the app. You might encounter this issue with apps that use GDI+ and set a zero (0) width pen object on displays with high dots per inch (DPI) or resolution, or if the app is using scaling.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>This update is automatically downloaded and installed via Windows Update. However, the package is also available via <a href=\"https:\/\/www.catalog.update.microsoft.com\/Search.aspx?q=KB5006743\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Microsoft Update Catalog <\/a>and is distributed via WSUS. Details about the requirements and known issues can be found in the KB article.<\/p>\n<h3>KB5007233 (Security Only) for Windows 7\/Windows Server 2008 R2<\/h3>\n<p>Update <a href=\"https:\/\/support.microsoft.com\/help\/5007233\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">KB5007233<\/a> (Security-only update) is available for Windows 7 SP1 and Windows Server 2008 R2 SP1 with ESU license. The update addresses the same issues as update KB5007236. The update is available via WSUS or in the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.catalog.update.microsoft.com\/Search.aspx?q=KB5007233\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Microsoft Update Catalog<\/a>. To install the update, the prerequisites listed in the KB article and above in the rollup update must be met. The update has the known bugs described in the KB article and causes among other things error messages when printing. In addition, the Internet Explorer 11 security update <a href=\"https:\/\/support.microsoft.com\/help\/5006671\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">KB5006671<\/a>.
