It is a maintenance update that fixes some bugs.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>According to the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.mozilla.org\/en-US\/firefox\/98.0.2\/releasenotes\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">release notes<\/a>, the following bugs have been fixed in the new browser version. <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Fixed an issue that prevented users from typing in the address bar after opening a new tab and pressing cmd + enter (bug 1757376). <\/li>\n<li>Fixed issue that caused some users to crash when memory was full (bug 1757618) <\/li>\n<li>Fixed a problem in the session history that caused some websites not to load (bug 1758664) <\/li>\n<li>Fixed an add-on specific compatibility issue (bug 1759162)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The new Firefox can be downloaded from <a href=\"https:\/\/www.mozilla.org\/de\/firefox\/all\/#product-desktop-release\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">this website<\/a> for various platforms (choose the variant from the list boxes displayed).<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>[German]Mozilla's developers have released version 98.0.2 of the Firefox browser on 23 March 2022.
