Anonymous hacks Russia's central bank<\/h2>\n

he hacker group Anonymous has claimed responsibility for a hack of the Central Bank of Russia. The purpose of the hack was to get hold of confidential data of this bank. Anonymous had already claimed to have hacked the Central Bank of Russia and stolen 35,000 files on 23 March 2022. Here is a tweet<\/a> on the subject. <\/p>\n

The group posted the message in Russian: \"We now have your economic secrets, you will tremble with fear, Putin\". To verify their initial claims, the group had also tweeted copies of bank documents in Russian. On Bank Security's Twitter channel, I found this tweet<\/a> confirming the hack.<\/p>\n

\"Anonymous<\/a><\/p>\n

hackread.com<\/a> appears to have access to the 28 GB of data released by Anonymous and writes: Hackread.com has viewed the leaked data. But due to its enormous size, it was practically and physically impossible to scan every single file\/folder. However, our limited analysis shows that the exposed records contain years of financial data, with some documents dating back to 1999.<\/p>\n

In addition, invoices, internal communications, documents, memos, bank statements, names of shareholders of various banks, bank licenses, names and addresses of apparently high-level clients\/principals, etc. part of the leaked documents. Anonymous had also recently hacked Rosneft's German subsidiary (see Anonymous hacked German subsidery of russian energy gigant Rosneft, 20 terabytes of data extracted<\/a>). There has been speculation in the media in recent days about what happened to Russian Defence Minister Sergei Shoigu because he was no longer visible in public. According to this tweet<\/a>, the man have had a heart attack.  <\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

VGTRK media group hacked<\/h2>\n

A second hacking group calling itself \"Network Battalion 65\" is claiming, according to the following tweet<\/a>, a hack of Russia's state-run VGTRK media group, which operates many TV and radio stations in Russia.  <\/p>\n
