It is a maintenance update that fixes the CVE-2022-2294 vulnerability. The download bug hasn't been fixed. <\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>I have been notified about this update of Microsoft Edge browser via mail from Microsoft. According to this mail, the following vulnerabilities (from the Chromium project) have been fixed in the browser:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>CVE-2022-2294\n<li>CVE-2022-2295<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The vulnerabilities have been described by Google <a href=\"https:\/\/chromereleases.googleblog.com\/2022\/07\/stable-channel-update-for-desktop.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">here<\/a>. The <a href=\"https:\/\/docs.microsoft.com\/en-us\/DeployEdge\/microsoft-edge-relnotes-security\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">release notes<\/a> don't give any further details about the update, the Edge 103.0.1264.49 is based on Chrome 103.0.5060.114 according to <a href=\"https:\/\/msrc.microsoft.com\/update-guide\/vulnerability\/CVE-2022-2294\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">this page<\/a>. The browser should be updated automatically, but can also be downloaded from the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.microsoft.com\/en-us\/edge\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Edge page<\/a>.
