The error when using forms that the requested class library or wizard is not a VBA project is patched by Microsoft. Now the release dates for these fixes are fixed. <\/p>\n

The VBA libray bug<\/h2>\n

\"\"I had pointed out the problem in Access after reader comments in the blog post Office updates destroys Access run time and apps<\/a>. All Access users are affected by the issue and may get the following error reported when calling a form in the Access package:  <\/p>\n

You have entered the expression On Load as the event property setting. This expression has caused an error: Requested class library or wizard is not a VBA project.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

In the meantime Microsoft has confirmed the problem and announced fix updates for the Click-2-Run and MSI versions. <\/p>\n

A blog reader has pointed out<\/a> that Microsoft has now published dates for the release of the updates for the various Office distribution channels. Workaround for immediate help<\/h2>\n

In this comment<\/a>, German reader A. Heyne points out a workaround with which affected users can help themselves by replacing a DLL until a patch is available:<\/p>\n

\n

However, to get an Office 2013 client up and running already now, I took the \"Vbe7.dll\" (version 7.01.1124) affected by the problem and corrected by the current patch in 2019 from a 2019 machine and copied it to the 2013 machine: Works so far without problems. <\/p>\n

You can find the DLL here:
– 32-bit Office: \"c:\\Program Files (x86)\\Common Files\\Microsoft Shared\\VBA\\VBA7.1\".
– 64-bit Office: \"c:\\Program Files\\Common Files\\Microsoft Shared\\VBA\\VBA7.1\" <\/p>\n

I did it with a 64-bit Office installation. However, it will certainly work with a 32-bit variant.
Likewise, I assume that the DLL will work with Office 2016.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

For people where a fix is urgently needed, and who still have the problem, the above approach may be tried. <\/p>\n
