\"Windows\"[German<\/a>]Intel once again makes a cut on July 27, 2022 and declares graphics drivers for graphic units of older CPUs as obsolete. On this date, all graphics drivers for GPUs of Intel processors of generations 6 to 10 will be removed from the regular update process. These graphics drivers should only receive security updates in case of serious vulnerabilities.<\/p>\n

As of July 27th, 2022, Intel will be moving 6th – 10th Gen Intel Processor Graphics and related Intel Atom\u00ae, Pentium\u00ae, and Celeron\u00ae processor graphics to a legacy software support model. Intel will provide software support for affected products on critical fixes and security vulnerabilities only. Software updates for these products will move to a quarterly release cadence or with software releases as needed.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

The following CPUs with code names Skylake, Apollo Lake, Kaby Lake, Amber Lake, Coffee Lake, Whiskey Lake, Comet Lake, Gemini Lake, Ice Lake, Lakefield, Jasper Lake, Elkhart Lake are affected:<\/p>\n
