The update is intended to address the critical vulnerability <a href=\"https:\/\/msrc.microsoft.com\/update-guide\/vulnerability\/CVE-2022-3075\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">CVE-2022-3075<\/a>. <\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>The <a href=\"https:\/\/docs.microsoft.com\/en-us\/deployedge\/microsoft-edge-relnote-stable-channel\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">release notes<\/a> state that this update includes a fix for vulnerability <a href=\"https:\/\/msrc.microsoft.com\/update-guide\/vulnerability\/CVE-2022-3075\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">CVE-2022-3075<\/a>, which was reported by the Chromium team as a vulnerability in the wild (see also <a href=\"https:\/\/borncity.com\/win\/2022\/09\/03\/chrome-105-0-5195-102-notfall-update-fixt-schwachstellen\/\">Chrome 105.0.5195.102 Emergency update fixes vulnerability<\/a>).
