In addition, the Edge browser in the Extended Stable Channel has been updated to 106.0.1370.59. This is a stability update.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<h2>Edge 106.0.1370.59<\/h2>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" alt=\"\" src=\"https:\/\/vg05.met.vgwort.de\/na\/a3eab8c314ee437880a07daca47bde1b\" width=\"1\" height=\"1\">The <a href=\"https:\/\/learn.microsoft.com\/en-us\/deployedge\/microsoft-edge-relnote-stable-channel\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">release notes<\/a> says it's a maintenance update for the Extended Stable Channel: <em>Fixed various bugs and performance issues for Extended Stable release.<\/em><\/p>\n<h2>Edge 107.0.1418.24 <\/h2>\n<p>This security update is available in the stable channel and closes seven vulnerabilities, which are described <a href=\"https:\/\/msrc.microsoft.com\/update-guide\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">here<\/a>. The colleagues from deskmodder.de even <a href=\"https:\/\/www.deskmodder.de\/blog\/2022\/10\/28\/microsoft-edge-107-107-0-1418-24-korrigiert-13-sicherheitsluecken\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">write<\/a> about 13 corrected vulnerabilities. The <a href=\"https:\/\/learn.microsoft.com\/en-us\/deployedge\/microsoft-edge-relnote-stable-channel\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">release notes<\/a> mention the following feature updates.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<p><strong>Microsoft Edge sidebar.<\/strong> The Microsoft Edge sidebar lets users access productivity tools side-by-side with their browsing window. For enterprise customers, the following experiences are currently turned on by default: Search, Discover, Office.com, and Outlook. Administrators can control the availability and configure the Microsoft Edge sidebar using the <a href=\"https:\/\/learn.microsoft.com\/en-us\/deployedge\/microsoft-edge-policies#hubssidebarenabled\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">HubsSidebarEnabled<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/learn.microsoft.com\/en-us\/deployedge\/microsoft-edge-policies#extensioninstallblocklist\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">ExtensionInstallBlockList<\/a>, and <a href=\"https:\/\/learn.microsoft.com\/en-us\/deployedge\/microsoft-edge-policies#extensioninstallforcelist\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">ExtensionInstallForceList<\/a> policies.
