But there is a solution from Microsoft. <\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<h2>The problem<\/h2>\n<p>Attachments on meetings or appointments are not available when you synchronize the Calendar with an Exchange ActiveSync client.<\/p>\n<h2>Reason and solution<\/h2>\n<p>Microsoft has published a support article <a href=\"https:\/\/support.microsoft.com\/en-us\/help\/2503175\/exchange-activesync-doesn-t-download-attachments-to-calendar-items-on-mobile-devices\" target=\"_blank\">Exchange ActiveSync doesn't download attachments to Calendar items on mobile devices<\/a> explaining the reason for this issue. The issue occurs, if:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The Exchange ActiveSync client doesn't support version 16 or a later version of the Exchange ActiveSync protocol.<\/li>\n<li>The mailbox is located on a version of Exchange that doesn't support version 16 or a later version of the Exchange ActiveSync protocol.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The fix for this issue is simple: Update the Exchange ActiveSync clients on your mobile device to a version that supports Exchange ActiveSync protocol version 16 or later.
