They are security updates that fix a critical vulnerability (0-day).<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<h2>Google Chrome 114.0.5735.106\/.110<\/h2>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/vg09.met.vgwort.de\/na\/7faa0f2b0f104a12995b3e4b8c901209\" alt=\"\" width=\"1\" height=\"1\" \/>The <a href=\"https:\/\/chromereleases.googleblog.com\/2023\/06\/stable-channel-update-for-desktop.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">relevant entry<\/a> for Chrome 114.0.5735.106\/.110 can be found on the <a href=\"https:\/\/chromereleases.googleblog.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Google blog<\/a>. The stable channel has been updated to version 114.0.5735.106 for macOS and Linux. For Windows, the update updates the browser to version 114.0.5735.110. It is an update that also closes 2 vulnerabilities (one 0-day), including those listed below.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>[$NA][1450481] High CVE-2023-3079: Type Confusion in V8. Reported by Cl\u00e9ment Lecigne of Google's Threat Analysis Group on 2023-06-01<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>As usual, no details are given. According to Google, the vulnerability is exploited in the wild. Google also states that various fixes have been made based on results from internal audits, fuzzing and other initiatives. Chrome will be rolled out to systems via the automatic update feature over the next few days. One can (and in this case should) also update the browser manually (via the menu and the About Google Chrome command).
