In addition, there is probably the (presumably) last firmware update for the Surface Duo smartphone.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<h2>Firmware update for Surface Laptop 4<\/h2>\n<p>I came across the firmware update for the Surface Laptop 4 through the following <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/teroalhonen\/status\/1697303363623227767\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">tweet<\/a> from Tero Alhonen. The <a href=\"https:\/\/support.microsoft.com\/en-us\/surface\/surface-laptop-4-update-history-607537fa-c595-4797-9a2e-ee77015472f6\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">update history<\/a> only talks about a fixed security vulnerability. The firmware update also fixes a problem with charging via USB-C.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/teroalhonen\/status\/1697303363623227767\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><img decoding=\"async\" title=\"Firmware Update Surface Laptop 4 \" src=\"https:\/\/i.postimg.cc\/25NG0TQ3\/image.png\" alt=\"Firmware Update Surface Laptop 4 \" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<h2>Firmware update for Surface Duo<\/h2>\n<p>Martin Geu\u00df pointed out the firmware update for the Surface Duo on <a href=\"https:\/\/www.drwindows.de\/news\/firmware-updates-fuer-die-surface-duo-smartphones-mutmasslich-das-letzte-fuer-die-erste-generation\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Dr. Windows<\/a> and supposes that it is the last of these updates for Microsoft's Surface Du s Android smartphone. Because its support expires on September 10, 2023, as you can read on <a href=\"https:\/\/learn.microsoft.com\/en-us\/surface-duo\/surface-lifecycle-android-devices\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">this Microsoft page<\/a>. Only the Surface Duo 2 is still supported until October 21, 2024.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/learn.microsoft.com\/en-us\/surface-duo\/surface-lifecycle-android-devices\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><img decoding=\"async\" title=\"Firmware-Update f\u00fcr Surface Duo\" src=\"https:\/\/i.postimg.cc\/X7n5JmVV\/image.png\" alt=\"Firmware-Update f\u00fcr Surface Duo\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>In the meantime, the team for the Duo 1 has been dissolved and both devices are no longer produced.
