But the update installation has to be done manually.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<h2>Windows Vista \u2013 out of support<\/h2>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/ssl-vg03.met.vgwort.de\/na\/cdb733bbfb844cf2be7f6f0588226a3b\" alt=\"\" width=\"1\" height=\"1\" \/>Support for Windows Vista has ended in April 2017 (see <a href=\"https:\/\/borncity.com\/win\/2017\/04\/11\/windows-vista-reached-end-of-live-april-11-2017\/\">Windows Vista reached End of Live (April 11, 2017)<\/a>). So Microsoft doesn't provides security updates via Windows Update anymore.<\/p>\n<p>Nevertheless it's possible, to patch security holes in Windows Vista, downloading updates for Windows Server 2008 from <a href=\"https:\/\/www.catalog.update.microsoft.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Microsoft Update Catalog<\/a> and try a manual install in Windows Vista.
