After installing KB3050267, System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM 2012 R2 CU4) fails to distribut Office 2013 updates.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>I don't use System Center Configuration Manager, but blog reader Marco contacted me via mail. Marco observed during a test a major problem with System Center Configuration Manager.<\/p>\n<p>After installing <a href=\"https:\/\/support.microsoft.com\/en-us\/kb\/3050267\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">KB3050267<\/a> on a machine, distribution of Office 2013 updates via SCCM 2012 R2 CU4 doesn't work anymore.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/web.archive.org\/web\/20200617072823\/http:\/\/k44.imgup.net\/SCCM015d33.jpg\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/web.archive.org\/web\/20200617072823\/http:\/\/k44.imgup.net\/SCCM015d33.jpg\"><\/a><\/p>\n<p>SCCM was able to download all Office 2013 updates, but installing these updates failed (tested on 3 Windows 8.1 test-clients). Deinstalling KB3050267 and rebooting Windows fixed this issue. Afterward SCCM clients works like espected.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/web.archive.org\/web\/20200617102839\/https:\/\/j12.imgup.net\/SCCM0200e1.jpg\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/web.archive.org\/web\/20200617102839\/https:\/\/j12.imgup.net\/SCCM0200e1.jpg\"><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Somebody observed the same or similar issues?<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Windows Update Client for Windows 8.1: June 2015 (KB3050267) seems to cause collateral damages.
